Episode #2- Upcycled denim jeans tote bag
In this episode I walk you through step-by-step how to upcycle an old pair of jeans into an tote bag. This environmentally project is great for everyone especially those of you on a budget. There is no need to go out and by fabric for this beginning sewing project. You can get all your materials out of your very own closet! Best part about Episode 2 is that the tote bag you see me making on camera is part of our first Crafty Gemini show giveaway! You will have a chance to win the actual tote bag I make in the tutorial. I’m teaching myself to sew and this is exactly what I want to do. Wonderfully clear and easy to understand. Thank you so much!

Good video… clear instructions, clear images, the words before beginning each step help us to know we’re transitioning to a different step. Simple, versatile project. I made a variation of this tote using larger squares to begin with, and used one strap from end to end instead of one on each side. You can leave the pockets on the pants, and then you have pockets on the outside of your tote!
